Ever since I was a kid I collected postcards from all over. When someone went on a vacation, I made sure that they got me a postcard. Over the years I had a collection of over 3,000 postcards. Then when I got my amateur radio license way, way back in 2013, I learned about QSL Cards. To my delight, I realized that these little paper gems were like postcards but far more personal. When people got me a postcard it was usually a picture taken by a professional, it was someone else's idea of a great memory. However, a QSL card is a fond memory of me talking to someone else. Each card is like a stamp in my amateur radio passport as I explore the world. Due to health and financial issues, I will never be able to travel to Belize, or France, or Swaziland, but my little weak radio signal might make that trip.
I will respond to every single QSL Card sent to me. For the United States I use the regular post office, SASE is not required. For DX I use the bureu.
I also upload regularly to EQSL, LOTW, Club Log, and QRZ
